The City of Puyallup is located at the foot of beautiful Mount Rainier, 10 miles southeast of Tacoma and 35 miles south of Seattle. Established as a farming community in the late 1800’s, the city still pays homage to its agricultural roots with the Daffodil Parade each April, a bountiful weekly farmers market in the spring and summer months and the Washington State Fair each fall. The downtown district offers an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants and a robust collection of public art. Highway 512 offers easy access to Joint Base Lewis-McChord and downtown Tacoma, and Sounder train service transports commuters from Puyallup to downtown Seattle in 45 minutes.
